11th November 2007 Windsurfing: Esso Beach Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: F4? Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: 10 Weather: Overcast, rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Arrived a bit earlier this time, just before high tide, lots of folk about, including B, H, MT and later Juan. Wind was dropping as I rigged, so went big, 6.5/102. This was a good plan because it went altogether as soon as I put on my wetsuit! Still, H and I went in for a stooge about, quite pleasant and beats standing on the beach. THEN the wind picked up, and we of course were in pole position! Very flat so practised hard - made quite a few gybes, interesting trying different positions, practising harness work etc. Eventually dropped again, and since the tide was going, packed up and went to see Pete McG. Not bad really! |
